You're first question might be - what is drabble?

A drabble is an extremely short work of fiction with exactly one hundred words , although the term is often misused to indicate a short story of less than 1000 words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity and to test author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space. [Definition courtesy of Wikipedia]

Often times there are drabble contests where participants are given a theme and certain amount of time to complete a drabble. This community has no time restrictions. It's main focus is to give Hanson fan fiction writers a place to come together and challenge themselves.

You may choose a certain fandom if you like. If you wanted to write all of your drabbles focused on one brother or a certain couple, that is perfectly fine.

This is a Hanson fan fiction drabble community, but you may choose a fandom within the Hanson fandom. If you wish to write all Zac stories or all Isaac or all Taylor, that's perfectly fine. If you want to write about a couple from one of your longer stories for your drabbles, that's acceptable as well. We welcome all genres, but we ask that if your writing anything that's adult, slash, or hancest, to put your drabble under a cut along with a warning.

• Respect the other members. Criticism should always be constructive. Unnecessary rudeness is not acceptable, and you will be banned from this community for being disrepectful.


• Anything from 100 words to 500 words is welcome in this community!


• Anything rated higher than PG-13 must be under a cut-tag.


• Anything over 150 words long must be under a cut tag.


• If there is anything the reader should be warned around [sex, slash, incest, etc] please say so.


• We do use tags in this community, so when you post please put the theme, rating, and character/pairing in the tags section.


• All posts will be put in moderation. They will not be approved unless you've posted correctly, so please make sure you've read all of the rules and posted according to them.
