[Non-Challenge] Gender Relations (Hakkai, Tatsumi)
Gender Relations (continued in a sense, from here; cross-over with Yami no Matsuei).

"Is something amiss, Cho-san?"

"Ah, no." Hakkai resumed chopping. "I was marvelling that we two men are cooking the meal. When I lived, it would have been uncommon."

"Likewise in my lifetime," Tatsumi agreed, adding, awkwardly, "without wives..."

"My sister taught me cookery."

Kanan had taught him much, but truthfully, in this, necessity had been his teacher after she had been gone. So much time had passed. Hakkai knew, personally, just how many times she had reincarnated.

Hakkai felt it needless to burden another with that story, so he smiled until his colleague replied:

"For me, it was my mother."

Oh my... I love these little x-overs. Someday, it would be really cool to see a big fic... *nudge,nudge*

I think I like this one best of them so far.

Hakkai felt it needless to burden another with that story...

Such a very Hakkai line.

This was the original drabble idea-- incest angst, can't leave home with out it.

(I should write the other one where Gojyo and Watari are setting the table in the other room, and bonding by going through Tatsumi's rather meagre porn collection...)

(It needs something to offset the dorkangst twins cooking, I think.)

And I really wish I could do something with Goku, Hisoka or Tsuzuki in all this. Goku would like Wakaba-chan, I think.

I have a feeling that Hisoka bailed on them all because

Sanzou-ikkou level of angst projection
= migraine
= Hisoka goes home to lie in the dark and quiet where there aren't insane agents being so damn repressed/angry/horny/hungry/etc.
