wk #44 prompt: minor characters only
Seeing as we're almost at the end of the week, we've giving you an easy little prompt this time, instead of the one we had scheduled.

So, your prompt this week:

Write a drabble using only minor characters. In other words, no mention of Dean or Sam (or Jared or Jensen).

Hi,

I'm kind of going nuts on this prompt, which is why I haven't posted anything.

The finished result (not quite done) will be a set of about 7-8 drabbles on minor characters from all 4 seasons.

Normally, this comm prefers to have people post the drabbles individually, but since there will be so many of them, would it be all right to post a link to the whole set?

Thanks!

So sorry to be so slow replying - I was working last night (yay 28 hour shifts! *g*).

We're actually fine with having people posting a link to a set of drabbles. The only strict bit is that the drabbles are individual, rather than double drabbles or the like. But yes, do post a link to the whole set - much easier!

Also, yay for you running with the prompt like that - I'm really excited to see which characters you've written.

It's posted, and I had a blast with it.

I'm glad to understand the comm policy better. I used to run riot with some of the prompts for [info]supernatural100 way back when, and I'd get a whole set out of them.

But always 100-words apiece. :)

I find that sometimes prompts give me a ton of ideas, and then other times I just go blank - lately I've been blanking on them a lot, even though I think we've had some really great prompts. Anyway, glad this one threw up such a great response from you!

I often feel that way, and when my first response is "Ooh! Ooh!" followed by... *nada*... I kind of get peeved at myself. At least in the short-term, because I have faith I'll conquer those prompts yet!

Fortunately, I save a list of them all so I can keep looking for something that will finally (like this week) match the "Smoke And Mirrors" prompt. :D

Me too! Though for some reason I find it hard going back to old prompts - if they don't work for me fairly instantaneously, they rarely seem to work at all. Don't know why.
