| About: | I have always been fascinated by dreaming and especially by my very own unpredictable and over the top adventures I get when I close my eyes at night. I’ve always wanted to keep a Dream Journal and have failed to do many times in the past. Recently I realized that having one here on Live Journal would be very easy and convenient. It is extraordinarily easy for me to update, spell check and edit here. This is now the official place where my dreams will live from now on. If I don’t get it out of my head and down on 'paper' rite away it will haunt me all day and distract me from my work. Sometimes I like to take ideas from my dreams and add them in my art however the happy and adorable style of art that I normally create normally conflicts with my crooked and completely bizarre dreams like two forces that were never meant to be combined. A lot of these dreams make some really neat short stories filled with adventure and magic. Sometimes maybe a short horror film filled with suspense and murder. Sometimes just pure craziness that spawns from an artistic mind. I like to try and interpret each dream with the help of this Online Dream Dictionary: http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/ Even if that sort of thing isn’t accurate it gives me piece of mind to think I understand what I see when I sleep. The ideas to create this Dream Journal oddly but not to surprisingly came to me in a dream!! The phrase "Sleeping With Eyes Awake" came to me very clearly in the dream to be the name of the journal. However the name was to long so I put that as the secondary name and I thought of "0nly a dream" as the main user name because after all, its only a dream... isn’t it? | |
