Mukashi Mukashi is an AU roleplay for anime/manga/video game characters in which characters are cast in the roles of archetypes from myths, legends and fairy tales and are set loose to stumble across each others' paths in one big melting pot of fate. At the heart of all this lies the mysterious Narrator, who only wants a good story. And the Narrator's definition of "good" may not always be a happy ending...

There are no KH players yet, except that I have reserved Sora and am currently working on his app. XD; Yes, I know it's a bit weird to be advertising a game that I'm not in yet, but when I first came across this game I thought to myself... "What character would fit with what Fairy Tale/Legend/Myth best?" and then I remembered the Snow Queen and I thought. Hey! That story might just work with Sora and Riku, what with Riku getting taken over by darkness and tricked into working for Maleficent and Sora searching for him for all of the first game (and most of the second too)." So, I decided to go with the Snow Queen! 8D The problem being, I think I could play Sora if I tried hard enough, but I need a Riku, but I don't really know any KH RPers well enough to ask! XD;; So, I thought I'd try to recruit someone on a KH comm, since it's worked for me in other fandoms before, and then I decided what the heck, I might as well advertise the game to everyone while I at it! 8D

Note that while some versions of this story had the two main character become romantically involved, this does not mean it has to be slash. Het Riku players may also apply. I just want a Riku to play with. XD; Besides, this'll be the first time I've played Sora and I suck romance plots with characters that I know well, so I don't think I want to do it that way. Don't worry about that being new to playing the character thing either. If I'm doing it wrong, then you can just tell me and I'll adjust myself. >.>

Anyone who is interested in that can contact me at Trouble Fire cat on AIM, other wise, go check it out anyway. It's slow right now, but that's because there aren't a lot of players yet and the mods were away for a while. This game is a really neat concept and just generally could use players! :D

This is an FST that has been many months in the making. It started out as just a little collection of songs I was listening to back in March (at least, that was the earliest post I found about it!), and has since then grew and become something I really like and feel accomplished finishing.

This FST basically follows Riku chronologically through the course of all three Kingdom Hearts games. I attempted to make it as gen and as close to the games as I could, but my pairing biases, both slash and het, are probably going to peek through. Also, while some artists or bands have more than one song on here, the songs were chosen because they fit Riku, and the bands are what feel like very "Riku" bands, to me (this is so hard to word :)). All cover art is by rubyd .

Anyways, my contribution is an excerpt from my Fan Novella of Doom. Remeber, from a long time ago?

Title: Going home

Warnings: Use of the word 'pervert,' present tense, and junker cars
Notes: I think I've rewritten this particular section about four times now, and I still hate it. But, I will admit this is the best one so far. And I love Axel/Lea's junker - it just fits him so perfectly in my mind.

It’s three in the morning and what barely passes for a car rumbles down the empty streets, going apparently nowhere. Lea glances over now and again at the other passenger, notes how bored and otherwise not impressed he is, before returning his attention back to the road. A small part of him is worries about how quiet the kid is, before he remembers it’s the time of night when only lunatics and druggies are out and about and squashes that little part of his brain into oblivion.

“You want to get something to eat?” he finally asks. He expects the blond to roll his eyes or just ignore him entirely. Instead, Roxas twists around to look at him, arm still cocked up, with a sort of confused look in his eyes.

“What?”

“Eat? Y’know, that thing you do when you put food in your mouth? I know you didn’t eat at work, so don’t bull shit me on that.”

Roxas just huffs and turns back to looking out the window. The car is as quiet as it can be with a busted muffler and dead shocks. The headlights of an oncoming car momentarily lights up the cabin, and Roxas is thrown into stark, moody relief. He has to tighten his hold on the wheel to control himself, and breathes a sigh of relief when a red light comes into view.

“Why do you care?” Roxas suddenly asks. Lea jumps, not expecting conversation after having silence for so long.

Lea doesn’t answer and Roxas doesn’t ask again, and both breathe a sigh of relief when Twilight Town comes into view. The jalopy coughs pathetically when the roll to a stop in front of a town house, identical to every other house around except for the upstairs bay window, which is wide open. The street lamp shows a curtain drifting on the breeze and stars in what has to be the kid’s bedroom.

Roxas follows his line of sight before looking – actually looking – at Lea and shrugging.

“It’s just a room,” he says, grabbing his bag and sliding out of the car. Lea smirks at him, and he swears he sees a hint of a blush on the kids scowling face, but it’s hard to tell with Roxas’s back to the streetlamp and his face in shadow. Finally Roxas turns with his nose in the air, no blush on his face, and huffs, “You’re a pervert.”

Lea laughs and coaxes the red car into life as the kid climbs the steps of his house and disappears into the dark.

The Soap Project-AU Multifandom RP

The city of San Angeles is a city surrounded by lights, sounds, and people. In the daylight, everything seems to operate just as any large city does. Businessmen spend 9 to 5 in the office, children spend their days in school, the upperclass host elaborate parties, and nobody stops long enough to give anyone else a second glance. Then..the sun goes down.

The night life in San Angeles is vastly different than the life citizens lead during the day. While the city sleeps, underdogs rule the streets. People gather together for a new type of therapy, a group therapy, a psychological healing called Fight Club. Others choose to forgo the fighting and instead work together on a little thing known as Project Mayhem.

In the morning though, these same fighters and mischief-making humans return to their 9 to 5 jobs, spending their days in the office, attending their schools, as if none of it never even happened. The first rule about San Angeles; don't let San Angeles fool you.

Author's Notes: Aha... I've been wanting to do a BAND CAMP fic for a while, since my band campo corresponds (time wise) to Axel/Roxas day. And, uh, if anyone reads this and shouts that their band section is not exactly like I have it, tough luck. I based it off my band. Because we're awesome-er than you (okay, not. But I wanted to).
And, if anyone is confused, Roxas plays this. I refer to them as tenors because my friend, who plays them, does.
And the Tidus and Yuna are FFX canon. As is Auron. ... kinda. But not the child/faeire/dude summoned by Hades. Yeah. :D

Live Past Fourteen

LIVE PAST FOURTEEN.Once upon a time there was a world. Much like there is today. Everything was as normal and everything was in its place.

Until one day, you wake up and every adult on the planet has vanished without a trace. All that's left is the children- every child under fourteen. But they were not alone- creatures, known as Overlords, appeared before the children, and took them to the Dorms. But these Overlords were not as kind as first percieved- for a few weeks later, the first monsters appeared throughout the once inhabited world, wired with the brains of the children older than fourteen. You live till your fourteenth birthday- and die. And you become one of those monsters.

That was fifteen years ago. Now, most of those first children who remember the old world are dead. Scarce few left now were born before the change. And everyone meets the same, miserable end without question. But not every child meets this grotesque end- you will not meet this grotesque end. You escape the Dorms, and run. Run from the Trackers, the Myrmridons, the Ferrets, and the Wingers set to stalk you to the ends of the world and bring you back kicking and screaming. You run through the barren wasteland. And you find you won't run alone, as you find him. Shade.

Shade may be your savior, or your most hated enemy, as you will fight for him against the Overlords and the world they have created from the world so long lost; to bring back the old world. Shade's old world. He is your only sanctuary. He puts you in harms way on the front line. One thing's for sure- you are Shade's Child. Part of his army of no one older then twenty-five years of age.

But Shade has other plans- his children are not up to the task, so he's calling forth others, from other worlds. People to come and help correct the world back to what it was, against their will. And your only return is helping Shade. Whoever you are, wherever your origins- you are one of Shade's Children, however old and mature you may be.

And if you're lucky, you will live to fight another day.

This however, wasn't enough for the young student. These few unsatisfying years lay the founding to a never-fading and incomparable hate for all things that has to do with studying, or other parts of a normal school-life. Therefore, this individual set his mind on becoming a principal of the most untraditional school in history; a school without teachers, without class, without any other purpose than to be entertaining (to him).

But who would attend such a school? The answer was simple: no one. Not by their own free will, that is. But the creative mind doesn't give up that easily, and the solution was rather easy to find: kidnapping ♥

so you can feel right at home.

You should never doubt us because, after all, it would be rather unfortunate if you should begin to wonder
why everyone seems to have code-bar tattoos, if you began to wonder why the city is divided in three different
sections, or if you noticed the fact that you've never seen your leader's face. Heck, even if you asked
yourself where did you get your QUANTUViS from. Or, even worse...

This is a Kingdom Hearts journal roleplay; it started out with members on a forum that's part of the site 'KHInsider'. The whole thing takes place on Livejournal in the characters' own journals, just like a normal journal roleplay. It takes place just a little bit after the end of Kingdom Hearts 2, but there's a bit of a catch: you can play ANY character [KH, Disney, FF] in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Just as long as they have appeared in any of the games, you can play them.

Anyway, Kingdom Hearts Insider is a great spot for news about the new games, and they've been keeping up with all of the juicy info that's been coming out of the Square Enix private party that happened last weekend. Famitsu and IGN have put out brand new scans that show Aqua in-game, more of Ven and Terra, Shion/Xion, Riku, Axel, Roxas and others.
