What have you all been doing about vaccines? Would you do it the same way again, either if you could go back or with another child?
Dante has been fully vaccinated on schedule, and I am happy with that decision.

I know its last minute but we are going to meet at the zoo today at 9:30. If anyone wants to join us feel free!!!! We are feeling way to cooped up today!!
I'm still in, if anybody else wants to join lets set a date?
I was thinking of going to Butterfly World Friday morning as long as it is not raining if anybody wants to join me.
Does anybody want to do something this morning? I need to get Annabelle out of the house and let her burn off some energy!
Anyone planning anything indoors tomorrow?
I was thinking of going shopping tomorrow, Friday the 8th, in the morning. I was thinking Boynton Beach mall but I'm not set on that. Does anybody care to join me?
Jessica and I are taking swim lessons at the wellington pool and they have a splash park there. We are there mon-thurs from 100:20-10:50 for swim and on Wednesday we were thinking of going to check out the splash park, if anybody wants to come.
Corynn and I were talking today about organizing a co-op babysitting arrangement. I propose we start off doing it 1 time a month and have 2 moms at a time watching the kids while 2+ moms get a break. What do you guys think? I would be willing to host the first one in August to try it out.
I am going to take J to the zoo in the morning. If anyone wants to meetup we will be there when it opens at 9. b :)
Does anyone know anything about Santaclues Aquatic in Lantana for swimming lessons? Aqua Crest and Santaluces have swimming lessons the same dates, Santaluces is closer to me. Registration is this Saturday the 19th for Tues-Fri. I am probably going to Santaluces if anyone wants to register with me. They open t 10:00 AM. I will update when I find more info on what I am doing.
Coryn- this is close for us if you are interested? :)

So yesterday I was folding towels and Annabelle grabbed a beach towel and ran to the front door. I asked her where she was going and she said zoo. She was very instant, she kept saying water and zoo. I am a little worried she will be in school one day and they will ask what you see at the zoo and she will say water and merry-go-rounds.
Well Jackson decided that he would attempt to escape the crib last night. So we changed the bed over to a toddler bed today. I really feel like he is getting older now. I can't believe it! My sweet baby boy is in a big boy bed. Here come the spider man sheets :)
His crib is a convertible so it looks like a day bed. He is taking a nap in it right now. We don't have any bed rails so I guess we will see how that goes. I have to order them it appears. Wish us luck! b :)

There's already something posted for this date/time over at meetup, so I didn't want to post this, too. I figured some of you would be interested.
On Friday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m., the Schoolhouse Children's Museum is holding an event called "Fun with Food: Making Ice Cream."
Description: You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! Pre-k kids ages 2 - 5 and their parents will enjoy making their own ice cream - a cool treat during the height of the summer heat! Program fee is in addition to admission to the museum.
Contact: Mario Aguilar (561) 742-6782 aguilarm@ci.boynton-beach.fl.us
Cost: $ 2.50 per non-member child; members always receive a 10% discount!
I emailed Mario to find out if it's necessary to pre-register. He replied, "Kids will mix and prepare ice cream from scratch. There isn’t a registration for this but if you get here at 10am sharp we can put you into the first group that makes ice cream at 10:30."
We'll be there!

I've been looking into the VPK (Voluntary Pre-K) programs and it seems that your child will have to be 4 years by September 1 for the regular Pre-K programs.
However, for the Spady Montesorri program, they will have to be 3 years old by September 1st. They are having an open house on November 6th.

If you plan on sending your child to a VPK at a public school, you will need to get a VPK certificate (bring in birth certificate, physical, immunizations, 2 proofs of residency).
If you plan on sending your child to VPK that is not run through the county school district, go through Family Central.

Parker doesn't make the age for next year, but Dante, Matthew, and Jackson do. You'll have to let us know how it all works out.

What time do you guys want to meet at the mall tomorrow? The meet-n-greet starts at 10. I could be there at 9.
On Friday there will be a bike parade in Delray Beach. Decorating starts at 3 and the parade starts at 4. Older kids can enter and win a prize, but this starts at ages 5-8. We are going to decorate our red wagon and join the fun. It will start at Veterans Park on Atlantic and end up at A1A. If anyone is interested we will meet at Veterans Park near the baby playground side at 3:30-3:45. If you bring an actual bike make sure the kids have their helmets. b
I just wanted to remind everyone if they are interested the AquaCrest pool sign up for swim classes is on saturday. I think they open at 11.
