momnson12: Halloween ideas?

Ok everyone ... I think I did this last year, but I'm going to do it again this year.

My son is very indecisive about what he wants to be for Halloween ... everyday it's something new ... a cartoon character, something scary, a hero, a villian, etc.

Any ideas to give him so we can decide before all the costumes are gone??????

Cross-posting to let everyone know ASAP.

The FAA adjusted the regulations for carry-on breastmilk, here.

"A ban on liquids in containers greater than three ounces, which was imposed last summer after the disruption of a plot based in London to blow up planes headed to the United States, will remain in effect, but the security agency will modify its rules related to breast milk. Passengers will be allowed to carry breast milk in quantities greater than three ounces as long as it is declared for inspection at the security checkpoint. Currently, breast milk is allowed only if a passenger is traveling with an infant."

Just wanted to share for the benefit of all. Delete if it's not allowed, please. Thanks!

so_sporktastic: Shameless Promotion

I'm advertising a new community that we're trying to get off the ground.

Its main focus is toward past and present young parents, especially moms.

When I got pregnant with my son, I didn't know anyone who'd been there and done that- all the moms I knew were older and a lot more stable. It would have been good to have someone I knew who'd been through it already.

So- we've created adopt_youngmoms for that purpose- to connect new young parents (not just moms!) with experienced young parents.

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the summer!

Also, mods- we would love to be linked with _parents_ as an affiliate.

Thanks!

I have a 6 week old son. It seems that lately he wants to be awake all day long, which is great because he is sleeping great at night, but he gets up so early. I'm talking like 5:30 - 6. I am so over tired, and need to get some sleep. Nothing seems to satisfy him though. He wants to walk around a see things, be talked to. Anything but fall asleep... What do I do so I am not so overly tired and exhausted?

For those of you who don't know, I've had a difficult time in the past few months. I'd like to say I know that my daughter's dad will be there, but I have a sick feeling of all knowing he won't. But I have a beautiful blue eyed baby girl with brown hair. lol. :D
If there's anyone else who knows what it's like to be going through the filing of divorce, and the up's and down's, feel free to post or message me, either here or myspace. marleenaboss on myspace. I just got lost for about 30 minutes in the woods in the back of my house, and got scared. Especially when I saw the half eaten turtle. YUCK! And on Halloween!!!!!

keefa_banidica: Hi everyone..

I just would like to say hi to everyone. See my LJ at http://keefa-banidica.livejournal.com and comments would always be welcomed. Since I am from Indonesia, if anyone would like to ask anything about my country, feel free to contact me too.

Thank you very much and hopefully that we would all be able to educate our children to the highest standard possible. (Education in my country is marginalized and way below international standard)
