Artist: Vienna Teng
Title: I Don't Feel So Well
Album: Dreaming Through The Noise
Language: English
Length: 4:16
Size: 3.99MB
I'm certain I've pimped Vienna Teng out here before. I love this whole album, but this song in particular. It has a minor key melody that's really enchanting.

Artist: Super Junior
Title: Bonamana
Album: Bonamana
Language: Korean
Length: 4:01
Size: 4.00 MB
It is embarrassing how much I like Super Junior. This song has a more Indian feel and, um, why is K-pop so freaking catchy. Yeah. If you like eye candy, check out the music video.

Artist: Charlotte Martin
Title: Stromata
Album: Stromata
Language: English
Length: 4:31
Size: 4.14 MB
This song has a really mysterious and industrial feel to it. Martin has an extremely strong voice that really grabs your attention.

Artist: Big Bang
Title: Lies
Album: Always
Language: Korean
Length: 3:49
Size: 5.24 MB
K-pop. It has eaten me. This song isn't amazing, but the chorus gets stuck in my head for days.

Artist: M. Craft
Title: I Got Nobody Waiting For Me
Album: Silver & Fire
Language: English
Length: 3:48
Size: 4.35 MB
M. Craft sounds like Simon & Garfunkel and watching rain trickle down your window. This song is really wistful and super acoustic/folksy! I also love the message of the lyrics.

HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR!

It's that time of year again! The crew at _feel_my_soul picks their top 5 songs that was released during the year 2007. :D Enjoy!

--------------------------

Kayne's (fallencult) picks for the year:

Artist: 信 (Shin)
Song: 告別的時代 (Gao bie de shi dai)
Album: 集樂星球 (Ji Le Xing Qiu)
Language: Mandarin
Released: Oct 17 2008
I¡¦ve only started to listen to Shin this year actually and he is now one of few male Mandarin vocalists I really like. This song is one of his softer and sadder songs; very addictive as well. I actually like his softer songs way more than his heavier ones, but then maybe I am just bias towards sad songs lol. I like how strings, piano and music box effect are incorporated in this song. Shin also has an unique voice, in my opinion, and he actually have a wide vocal range. Maybe you know and maybe you don¡¦t but he used to be in the band «H¼Ö¹Î which in English is also called SHIN. Anyways, I would say that this is one of the Mandarin songs that you should give it a try. Also if you like ¬_¦³ºú (Alan Kuo), I think you would like him too.

Artist: Disturbed
Song: Deceiver
Album: Indestructible
Language: English
Released: June 2 2008
Disturbed is probably one of my favorite metal bands. They are more of nu-metal and alternative metal although they are also categorized under hard rock. This genre may make you think of a lot of screaming but it is not necessarily true in all the case, at least not in this song. The only screaming, and really short, part is in the beginning and growling in the bridge. What I like about this band is the way they balance between heavy instrumentation arrangement and the vocal part. The chorus is actually very catchy and melodious. If I remember correctly they are the first metal band that I¡¦ve grown to really like. This song is actually also my favorite song by them overall. Give it a try even if you don't normally listen to this genre.
[Download]

Artist: Coldplay
Song: Viva la Vida
Album: Viva la Vida
Language: English
Released: June 11 2008
Most of people might have already heard this song but anyways...I don¡¦t normally listen to Coldplay because they aren¡¦t really the genre I listen to but this song is just awesome lol. The first time I heard it I was already drawn to it. This song has a really nice melody through out. I love their instrumentation arrangement for this; it has a very catchy beat. I also like the incorporation of strings and bells in this song. It is a nice sing along song and it is an easy listen and it can get very addictive, well at least for me it did lol. If you haven¡¦t heard of this song already, listen to it XD
[Download]

Artist: Acid Black Cherry
Song: SPELL MAGIC
Album: BLACK LIST
Language: Japanese
Released: Feb 20 2008 [note: the song is originally released in 2007 as a single (oh hey I cheated again)]
Perhaps you¡¦ve heard of Janne Da Arc or perhaps not but anyways this is the solo project of their vocalist. I¡¦ve actually fallen in love with his solo project first. What can I say, I really like Yasu¡¦s voice. I find it um quite special? (he has a higher voice) This is a heavier and faster tempo song by him, and the reason why I decided to give him a try. I like it when he writes/sings songs like this way more than when he does ballads xD; and he has such dirty lyrics sometimes D8 lol. The chorus is also very catchy. Anyways, doesn¡¦t matter if you heard of the band, like it or not, I would say give it a listen because honestly I think the solo work is different from the band itself.
[Download]

Artist: DELUHI
Song: Hybrid Truth
Album: MAHADEVA [single]
Language: Japanese
Released: Nov 26 2008
Right now they are my favorite J-rock indies band. You could say that they have metal influences. For a band that only formed in the 2008, I find them to be pretty impressive. The beginning is a bit heavy with growling, but the chorus is actually very melodious and catchy. I absolutely LOVE this song; the beat, the rhythm, the arrangements, etc. Leda is a pretty good songwriter and a guitarist with potential. Hybrid Truth is (not including their newest single because I am still waiting for my copy to arrive) by far my favorite song by them. Did I also mention that I really like Juri¡¦s voice? I think his singing improved quite a bit by this point.

Megumi's (lilac_neko) picks for the year:

Artist: Amuro Namie (安室奈美恵)
Song: WHAT A FEELING
Album: BEST FICTION
Language: Japanese
Off of one of my favourite Amuro Namie singles, this is the 80s track off the single. It samples the song "Flashdance" with a heavier synth presence. It contains Amuro's signature Engrish lyrics, and her usual slick production. This song is a burst of electronic fun. I personally like ROCK STEADY a bit more than this one, but I gave that one to Tsuki to post ;D. Either way, this track is still fun to listen to.
[Download/Listen]

Artist: Angela Aki
Song: 手紙~拝啓十五の君へ~ (Teggami ~Haikei Juugo no Kimi he~)
Album: ANSWER (to come in 2009)
Language: Japanese
Another spot of my top 5 from last year goes to the very talented piano singer-songwriter Angela Aki. This was my favourite song for a good deal of the year. The song, like the majority of her songs, are centered around the piano. This particular song was written for a sort of choir competition, and you can see some school choirs sing this song (with gorgeous harmonies, I must say). While this song lacks the lovely harmonies, as it's only Angela Aki singing, she doesn't disappoint with this recording. She sets up the song perfectly throughout with a nice gradual crescendo throughout the song, ending with a more upbeat, clapping section.
[Download/Listen]

Artist: ayaka
Song: 手をつなごう (Te wo Tsunagou)
Album: Sing to the Sky
I had a hard time picking between this song and 今夜も星に抱かれて, both which are lovely ballad songs from ayaka. I settled on this single because I simply liked it for a longer period of time of the year. It's a lovely ballad from the always talented ayaka, who has one of the best voices in Jpop, in my opinion, although some tones of her voice tends to be a bit harsh for some people to listen to. Either way, ayaka interprets this lovely in a lovely way.
[Download/Listen]

Artist: Koda Kumi (倖田來未)
Song: TABOO
Album: TRICK
Koda beat out Ami Suzuki for a spot in my top 5, and that distresses me because Koda usually bores me to death. Not with this track from 2008, though, because it outplayed the majority of the other songs of the year. Something about it is just really addictive, and for once, Koda doesn't sound absolutely bored when she sings in this song. Verdict? Ridiculously addictive. It's also better than that bland duet she did with Fergie, which isn't really that hard to beat.
[Download/Listen]

Nichika: Nichika
Song: Cream Soda
Album: Nichika
Everyone who has listened to this duo seems to have fallen completely in love with this group. I wasn't (the majority of the album bored me both musically and emotionally), but it wasn't without some REALLY good songs. This particular song I absolutely adore for its clever vocal layerings and how they put the song together. It's gorgeous, while being really quite interesting to listen to. If you enjoy this track, I would recommend you listen to the rest of the album as well, because I'm sure you'll be taken by this group's sound.

Tsuki's (hiccups25) picks for the year:

Artist : 中島美嘉 (Nakashima Mika)
Title : あなたがいるから (anata ga iru kara)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : VOICE
Nakashima graces us with a fantastic late presence this year with the release of VOICE. This album brought her back on the Jpop map and there's really no surprise when she's putting out great material like this lovely number. Nakashima sings with a lot of emotion as usual, and surely doesn't disappoint. I was anticipating this song ever since I heard the recording a while back, so I'm really glad she finally gave us an official release.
[Download/Listen]

Artist : 安室奈美恵 (Amuro Namie)
Title : ROCK STEADY
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : BEST FICTION, 60s 70s 80s (single)
Amuro started off this year with a huge bang, and really didn't lose momentum. 2008 has been recognized as her year and her return to the top (seems like it was a bit of a theme this year too). As I have mentioned over at Lost Wing, I thought I would have lost interest in her shortly after "PLAY", but she just kept coming back stronger. ROCK STEADY sat on my repeat list for a long time and this isn't even counting the number of times I watched the PV.
[Download/Listen]

Artist : 坂本真綾 (Sakamoto Maaya)
Title : 雨が降る (ame ga furu)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : 雨が降る (single) (ame ga furu)
I asked the same question last year: What's a year without a Sakamoto release on my list? I feature an awful lot, and it didn't look like it was likely for me to include anything from her after she released "Triangler" (didn't really strike me as interesting), but when she released this, I was in love. Another song that made it onto my repeat list for an unknown amount of time, I love what Sakamoto presented us here.

Artist : 伊藤由奈 (Ito Yuna)
Title : 恋は groovy x2 (Koi wa groovy x2)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : 恋は groovy x2 (single) (Koi wa groovy x2)
Hit-or-miss for Ito fans everywhere, but as a casual fan of hers, this was a hit (a very catchy hit if I may add). I thought it showcased great vocals from Ito, with immense improvement on the already-talented singer. I was never a huge fan of Ito's upbeat numbers, but this really took me off guard. The B-side, "Mafuyu no seiza" is just as good (but I figured, since it's New Years, I might as well put an upbeat song).
[Download/Listen]

Artist : Jason Mraz
Title : The Dynamo of Volition
Language : English
Album/Single : We sing, we dance, we steal things.
Jason Mraz wins my personal vote for "Artist of the Year". His popular song "I'm Yours" finally made it onto the radio and is a big hit no less, however, from his latest album, this is my favourite. A very fun and quick song, it definitely gets you clapping along (or doing that little dance he teaches at his concerts).

All the instruments of a full orchestra as well as a full-fledged full-organ :D Magic is what this is. If you've never heard this or any of the songs, DOWNLOAD NAO.

Yes, you heard right. Barenaked Ladies did a Christmas album. It's all you'd expect from them XD Don't let the first track mislead you, it's really traditional then goes all downhill from there. Like in a good way XD It's wacky, silly, un-formal, and just damned anti-traditional at points XD And, hey! Hanukkah songs! For those who hate our Santa-celebrating holiday XD This albums pretty out there, but knowing our watch list, all of you will love this XD

Artist: Kotono Mitsuishi (Usagi)
Title: Yumemiru dake ja Dame "Dreaming by itself is no good"
Album: ~In Another Dream~
Language: Japanese
Length: 7:10
Size: 6.56 MB
Lyrics and Translation: Here
Whoo-hoo~! Sailor Moon song first :D One of my favorites from the first season :3 I ended up finishing watching it, and when I hit the Bathhouse/Water Sprite episode "Mizuumi no densetsu youkai! Usagi kazoku no kizuna." or "The Lake of Monster Legend! Usagi's Family Tie." -ep. 40. This song plays at the end before the credits. I immediately spazzed and went "OMGOD. IT'S THAT SONG." and ran to Sailor-Music.Net to dig it up XD;; Lucky for you guys this is in MP3 not OGG. I converted it juuuust for you ;3

Artist: Ai Orikasa (Ryoko) & Yumi Takada(Ayaka)
Title: Up-Walk In Galaxy
Album: Tenchi Universe TV Series Soundtrack
Language: Japanese
Length: 3:41
Size: 5.14 MB
This song is ridiculously funny, especially the end XD It's the complete ending theme song to Tenchi Universe, or Tenchi TV in Japanese. Although Takada isn't really your ideal songbird (dear god is she pitchy) this one of the few songs she sings in the entire Tenchi sagas. I love her Ayaka anyways. If you can get over Tadaka's pitchy, yet in-character, singing in the second half, Orikasa's beautiful singing is WELL worth this song. Really the main reason I love the song is the absolutely hilarious dialogue at the end of Ryoko and Ayaka fighting. Dear god it makes me laugh every time XD

Artist: Semisonic
Title: Closing Time
Album: Feeling Strangely Fine
Language: English
Length: 4:32
Size: 4.16 MB
Oh the timeless classic. I have a thing for 90s music, you noticed? This song is the best late at night when your really tired. I guess it's because the woozier you are the better it resonates. This is one of my favorites because of the driving sound of the piano and drums that runs the whole song. There's guitars driving too, but the piano is just damn lovely. Classic.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Fiona Apple
Title: Never Is A Promise
Album: Tidal
Language: English
Length: 5:54
Size: 5.41 MB
This is one of the best songs of Tidal. And one of the best piano out of Apple. The piano almost is mesmerizing as it adulates around almost like it's spinning around your head in a dizzy circle. Tidal is more of a melancholic album, but this one isn't so sad. It's got a bit of hope to it.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Angela Aki
Title: Never Is A Promise
Album: ONE [Mini Album]
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:56
Size: 7.38 MB
Aki's cover is much more resonating. I have a feeling she recorded this in a hall. Just guessing. But her version is much more open and free feeling. Of course her voice is beautiful, and matches Apple's voice to the tone. But there's enough difference to make this a completely different experience. I actually think Aki's version is much more epic. The fact this is entirely on piano only is insane. Also, I'm %100 sure it's only her and her piano. It's just beautiful. I actually prefer this version.

Artist: The Beatles
Title: Yer Blues
Album: The Beatles [White Album] Disc 2
Language: English
Length: 4:00
Size: 3.67 MB
Of all the epicness that is Beatles + The White Album + THIS SONG is IMASSIVE. Classic rock fans need no explinations. Here's your good brit rock 'n roll. Beatles. Download.

Artist: Shiina Ringo
Title: Yer Blues
Album: Utaite Myouri (Kame-pact disc)
Language: English
Length: 4:12
Size: 5:79 MB
And Shiina's cover. Really well done and sweetly covered. It runs through the song pretty truly to the original. Of course you get Shiina's classic voice. The guitars match pretty perfectly if not harder. Win.

Artist: Pink
Title: Humble Neigborhoods
Album: Try This
Language: English
Length: 3:52
Size: 2.65 MB
I have an unholy loyalty to Pink. Me and my sister have been pretty hardcore fans since she came out. Sadly she's kinda obscure right now :/ I still love the fuck out of her though \m/>.<\m/ Off Try This, Humble Neighborhoods was my instant favorite. It just rocks me with my rules suck attitude. The fact that this is such an intense driving song with such force ROCKS. There's a sort of olde Western style of music taste to this. Hell, there's a saloon piano in the background! It's like new puck western shoot-em-out with electric guitars. I LOVE IT.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Orgy
Title: Blue Monday
Album: Candyass
Language: English
Length: 4:26
Size: 3.05 MB
A cover of a New Order song. I'm looking it up right now! It'll be next! OK, it's under here XD
Well here's one of my favorites of Orgy's. I don't really listen to Alternative this hard, but damn is this a good song. I dunno, I like hard beat Trance, I just love songs with a hard rhythm period. This one does it. Orgy's very Trance-y Alternative, and I guess it's why I like it :/ Hey, it's got real instruments! XD A solid guitar jams through the whole song and the drums make a solid beat worth nodding your head too.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: New Order
Title: Blue Monday
Album: The Beach
Language: English
Length: 7:25
Size: 6.80 MB
Ahaha, Orgy's is a cover so I was morbidly curious, so I looked it up XD Actually this is a little moldy XDDD Download if you want a comparison. Orgy's is WAAAAAAY better *nodnod* Oh the 80's angst XD
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Daft Punk
Title: Aerodynamite
Album: Daft Club
Language: N/A
Length: 7:48
Size: 10.7 MB
Yes this is Gynormously big and long, but is it ever worth it X333 It's not really a remix of Aerodynamic, but more of a sister song. It's got the feel of it but more of a Trance than a Techno. It's so awesome it defies words. It's looser than Aerodynamic, and much more driving. See for yourself ;3
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Ayumi Hamasaki
Title: YOU [Aggressive Mix]
Album: SUPER EUROBEAT presents ayu-ro mix
Language: Japanese
Length: 4.52
Size: 11.1 MB
Eeuh, another hard hitter. But damn, is this one awesome. It's got such a jumpy beat you really will bop to it. Also, Ayu's voice isn't synthed! It retains it's true form! Lovely! The beat to this song is so awesome, it's hard from me not to jump to it XD It's beat is so smooth and it flows so well it's easy to pick up and dance along. Actually although the beat is strong, the music is very un-hard (unlike the rest of these songs XD) It's hard not to love. One of her best remixes I think.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Sonique
Title: It Feels So Good
Album: It Feels So Good (Single)
Language: English
Length: 3:48
Size: 5.05 MB
Much softer now. Another 90s song, but this one barely makes it dragging on '99. This one is actually has a much softer sound to it. It's melodic and smooth and sways in it's rhythm. Good if you want a romantic Techno song. Not really Trance, but close.
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Garbage
Title: Temptation Waits
Album: Version 2.0
Language: English
Length: 4.53
Size: 4.21 MB
Ahh, the opening track off 2.0. I don't know why, I just love the sneakiness of this track. I guess I wish to be this bad XD It's your good Garbage, and although it's a bit lithargic, it's got a good beat to it. It's almost psychedelic in it's tone. Although I'm sure drugs where involved in it's making XD
[DOWNLOAD]

Artist: Shaimus
Title: All of This
Album: Paper Sun
Language: English
Length: 2:34
Size: 2.26 MB
An old upload of Megu's I though this deserved re-uploading :3 It's quirky and dorky and sweet :3 It's one of my favorite love songs I have on my hard drive. The guitars play almost in complete sync with the drums. It's just a giddy dorky trip X33

Artist: No Doubt
Title: Magic's In The Makeup
Album: Return Of Saturn
Language: English
Length: 4.21
Size: 2.99 MB
Although Return of Saturn gets a bad rep, there's a lot of really good songs off it. This one is one of my favorites. It's got such a sweet honest message. If it's all gone, will you still love me? I kinda relate to it; not really in a makeup sense, but we all have our real selves hidden somewhere inside. It's a really classic No Doubt song. The guitar is acoustic and electric, and it's so smooth.

Artist: Aqua
Title: Cartoon Heroes
Album: Aquarius (Special Edition)
Language: English
Length: 6:33
Size: 6 MB
Heh, this is one that may annoy you, you may love it. This is the original cut of the next song. Personally this makes me feel pretty nogalistic, I bet it will for anyone who watched early morning cartoons when you were kids. Shit they don't show anymore :/ It's got lots of big-band instruments, including violins and trumpets. It seems to a habit with Aqua :o

Artist: Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Mix)
Title: Barbie Young
Album: Dance Dance Revolution 8th Mix -Extreme-
Language: English
Length: 1:31
Size: 1.22 MB
This is the DDR remix of the song. It's what I heard first, and I bet more of you have heard this. It's what the name says, SPEEDY. Like all DDR songs It's under 2:00, so it goes uber fast. It's a good DDR song. I've seen Tora dance to it. You'll kill yourself D:

Artist: The Lovin' Spoonful
Title: Do You Believe In Magic
Album: Anthology
Language: English
Length: 2:07
Size: 1.46
Aaaaaah. I good song to round it off :3 A wonderful 70s classic. If you like acoustic guitar and classic rock, here you go :3 I originally ripped this because I need "Magic" songs for my Makin' Magic expansion for Sims 1. This was one of the songs I used to play in Magic town :3

Hey guys. I've been meaning to update this for a while, and I've got a spare moment and motivation so here you go! I've got some J-pop for you this time :3

Artist: EXILE
Title: Fly Away (Original Mix) & Fly Away (Johnathan Peter's Club Mix)
Album: Fly Away
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:22 & (Remix) 7:41

Ahh... Old favorite from the Japan-a-Radio days of yore for me XD I've yet to see much of EXILE since I first heard them in 1998. Well, they're all in their 30s now anyway XD This was one of my favorites when I first listened to JaR because it has such a techno-y rythem in the original song and it flows so well. The original is almost all vocal and synth, but it pulls of the pop REALLY well. It's repeat worthy, let me put it that way >w>...

The Remix is EVEN MORE REPEAT WORTHY. It's really nothing but vocal and beat, but it's so original even for 10 years old. It'll get stuck in your head pretty fast. When I found it finally, my head kinda exploded XD And you get both versions!

Artist: Ayumi Hamasaki
Title: Depend on you "dub's electro remix"
Album: ayu-mi-x [Disc 1]
Language: Japanese
Length: 5:02
Size: 11.5 MB
I found the discography of Ayumi Hamasaki, and let me tell you, DEAR GOD does she have a lot of remixes @x@ But this one shines. The intro doesn't take to long, the rhythm isn't too repeated (actually it constantly varies in the background), and the verses are short and sweet. Ayu actually gets full verses of the song in here 8D! There is a longer cut of this, but it sucks. This is the shortened, sweeter version ^_~*

Title: End roll
Album: A BEST
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:42
Size: 10.7 MB
This is up here for angelinamoon as my music player seems to have a magic sync as to when I'm reading a LJ entry of hers. The entry was a but of a somber one, and this started playing on shuffle as soon as I read the first line :3 I won't discribe the entry, but this fits Angelina's break into a path of discovery.
This is a slow melodic song that isn't somber, but uplifting and sweet. It's a very hopeful sounding song. It's mostly acoustics, drums and a tambourine (I think, softly), piano, and aside from a little synth, it's almost all acoustic. Beautiful song.

Artist: capsule
Title: megalopolis
Album: FRUITS CLiPPER
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:49
Size: 6.62 MB
Ahh, capsule. I went on a rampage looking for capsule music since Starry Sky was posted, and I was not disappointed :3 This is one of my favorites from them. Like almost all of their songs, it's got a constant beat, but it varies plenty to keep it interesting. It switches around quite a lot and keeps you interested. This one has a very pots-and-pans sound to it. That's the only way a can put it ^^;;

Artist: moumoon
Title: my darling
Album: love me?
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:40
Size: 6.42 MB
Moumoon didn't impress me entirely, but this track is cute beyond words. Mou is so DAMN CUTE it's harrowingly addictive. It's kind of a slow-ish song but it's got that rhythm and melody that just makes you want to sway. It's typical Pop, but it reminds me of Megumi Hashabara days of Magical Girls Honestly XD (This is what I get for reading SGVY straight through with this on repeat XDDD)

Title: Steam Machine
Album: Human After All
Language: English
Length: 5:22
Size: 7.40 MB
Windsong said she had all of Discovery, So two tracks off Human After All! This is a pretty grindy song. But it's sexy to boot. It's a really good song to sway around at and move your hips. I don't know which boy is saying the title lyric "Steam" but it's SEXY. Mmm-hmm. You have to download it to hear it's awesomeness.

Title: Make Love
Album: Human After All
Language: English
Length: 4:48
Size: 6.61 MB
And, ironically the next track of the album. Not so sexy, but very, very sweet. It's got a soft guitar lining is beat, and one of the boys is singing "make love" in and out in the background. Not much to this song, as it's more of a slowdance song (all of Daft Punk's songs are mostly Dance numbers honestly :/) But this has a really nice ambiance, and It's really really soft and soothing. Makes me hopeful for love :33

Album: Best of Trance Vol 4
Language: English

Size: 2.05 MB
EGODS THIS IS TOO SHORT T3T Off my Best of Trance Vol 4 sampler, this is hands down my favorite. It's Ian Van Dahl, duh. The singing's constant and strong. It's got piano ripples that make me think of water dropping. The big finale at the end makes me think of fireworks :3 Actually I have an entire music video in my head of this song. I won't tell you what of though >3

Artist: Aqua
Title: Freaky Friday
Album: Aquarius
Language: English
Length: 3:45

Please excuse the intro. It has a purpose I promise. It's your typical Aqua song, but it's so corny it's hilarious. Actually, for a "country song" it's insanely Big-Band recorded. There's brass, piano and even violins! Get it. It's worth the crazy XD

Ah the classic love song. If your an 80s music fan, or if you love classic love songs, or even if you've just seen "10 Things I Hate About You", this is the original, live from Bedokan in Japan 8B Try too see if you can hear the girly Japanese fans sing "Cry, Cry, Cry" in the interludes :3 And notice how much Japanese screaming you can recognize. I'm not describing this song. It needs no introduction >3 (Memorize the lyrics, it'll come in handy I promise. Even if your a girl. Especially if your a girl >333)

Artist: Ewan McGregor/Nicole Kidman
Title: Elephant Love Medley
Album: Moulin Rouge [Original Soundtrack]
Language: English
Length: 4:12
Size: 3.86 MB
Oh the mushy dork-tasticness that is this song. I've never seen this movie all the way through because the camera angles killed my eyes. BUT, this song should be in the repertoire of all of your love song lists. Whether you've seen the movie or not (like me) this song is beautiful in every way that is. Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman's voices are epic and boldly gorgeous. If you know any of the songs they're singing from it makes it all the better. It's the most epic love song ever. I AM REQUIREING ALL OF YOU TO DOWNLOAD THIS. I really wish someone would serenade me like this ;_; (Hoshi is lonely ;3;)

Title: Brain Dive
Album: Ghost in the Shell Megatech Body.Cd.Ltd.
Language: Instrumental
Length: 4:48
Size: 4.40 MB
For nare_chan. I don't know what Ghost in the Shell title this is from, but it's from one of them. Industrial techno. Not as good as Yoko Kanno's work on the series, in my opinion. Lots of repetitive sound. And beeping. Lots of high-pitched beeping.

Artist: FLOW
Title: A Ballad For Me
Album: SPLASH!!
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:46
Size: 6.55 MB
I don't like FLOW too much, but I remember that other people here do, so here you go. A slower song from them...speaking and some singing over guitars and drums. if you like most Naruto or Bleach openings (or songs that sound like that), you'll like this too, probably.

Artist: Pizzicato Five
Title: AIUEO
Album: Çà et Là du Japon (Sa e Ra du Japon)
Language: None?
Length: 3:40
Size: 5.03 MB
This song is awesome. XD It's simply the lead singer going through the different phoenetic sounds of the alphabet—"sa see sou seh so," "ma me moo meh mou," etc.—but it has great instrumentation in the back (violins, flutes, guitars)--and so it turns into a very complete, pretty little song.

Artist: Yoko Kanno (Brain Powerd)
Title: Ai no rinkaku
Album: Brain Powerd OST
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:21
Size: 5.95 MB
I don't know all the stuff I have on my playlist, and sometimes I get pleasantly surprised; this song made me walk clear across my house to see what was playing. XD A beautiful, stately melody unfolds over lots of string instruments. Every now and then, there's a drum in the background that sounds like thunder, which is pretty cool.

Artist: KOTOKO (Kannazuki no Miko)
Title: Agony
Album: Kannaduki no Miko OP & ED Single
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:22
Size: 4.00 MB
A very shiny techno song. If you like Tamaki Nami, or, um, any other Kotoko song, you'll like this. I *hate* this anime with a *furious passion* and do not recommend it to anyone, but I like Kotoko. They're cool.

Artist: Charlotte Church (A Beautiful Mind)
Title: All Love Can Be

Language: English
Length: 3:17

This is the theme song from A Beautiful Mind. I'm not a huge fan of Charlotte Church, but I love this song. It has a beautiful, delicate melody, and the sweeping orchestral background is perfect.

Feel My Soul - Hoshi
Hey guys! I've arrived :3 I'm Hoshi the long-time watcher, but now new uploader of the group :D I've been friends with the head of the group, Megumi, for over 10 years. I'm one of her longest running friends, and the only one who I think can beat me is Ceri XD Who's the past member and namer of the group (I'm sure there's others who can beat me IRL XD)

Anywho, Megumi agreed to let me be a new member of the group, so here I am! (Bad Den-O jokes aside XD) And I've come with goods!

I decided I'd upload some personal meaning songs for my introduction. Blessed, their mostly English, but I highly doubt you people will mind XD Most of my J-Pop is from these wonderful ladies, but guess what! I have most of the archives! So if you ever need something from a past post- feel free to request it!

I do have a lot of American/English Music, though god bless we don't have shitloads of American music laying around the house.

But here are some of my personal favorite songs :3 Uploaded on Mediafire.

Artist: Amy Grant
Title: Hats
Album: Heart in Motion
Language: English
Length: 4:09
Size: 2.86 MB
I use to listen to Amy Grant when I was little, and granted I'm not one for Christian Music, her songs aren't very close to what you'd think of for her genre. This one is one of my favorites because of how silly it is :3 It's your typical 90s genre song, but it's unique, as it's mostly done with brass, drums and guitar. It's very minimal, but there's a lot of trumpet, and it's really good for how old it is - 1991!

Artist: Barenaked Ladies
Title: One Week
Album: Stunt
Language: English
Length: 2:49
Size: 1.94 MB
The saddest part about this song is the fact I've memorized ALL of the lyrics. This song doesn't need to have much of a description if you listened to the radio in the mid-90s but!- This song's VERY FAST and the lyrics FLY by. It's horridly addictive though XD It's really hard to understand sometimes XD BUT! SALOR MOON REFRENCE~! Look for it X3

Artist: No Doubt
Title: Just A Girl
Album: Tragic Kingdom
Language: English
Length: 3:29
Size: 2.39 MB
Ah- another song you should of heard in the mid-90s :3 I'm a tremendous fan of No Doubt, and this is probably their most famous song, and an anthem of girls world-wide :3 It's got its classic Tom Dumont guitar riff that WILL get stuck in your head. It's really one of their most rock-y songs they have, and one of the most classic 90s Pop songs of the era.

Artist: Fiona Apple
Title: Paper Bag
Album: When the Pawn
Language: English
Length: 3:39
Size: 3.36 MB
One of the classic singer-songwriter girls. Yet another song I've memorized. Fiona Apple's a well-but-not-to-well known of the singer-songwriters of the 90s and she's one of my favorites <3 I originally found this on the old Napster, but this is off my album I finally found :3 It's very slow, but very driven in a slow way. It's got a steady piano (Played by Apple herself) leading the entire song, backed up by soft trumpets and drums. As most of her songs, there's no guitar. I love her lyrics, as they're great for anyone who's had to deal with a stupid boy.

Artist: ATC
Title: Around The World (La La La La La)
Album: Around The World (La La La La La)
Language: English
Length: 3:36
Size: 4.97 MB
A most loved techno song :3 Again from the 90s, this one was REALLY popular as the techno wave just was starting to hit. It's most renowned for it's constant bell beat, and the bells run constantly through out the song, interchanging different pitches throughout. It's mostly drums and bells, but it's blended in awesome simplicity. These lyrics WILL get stuck in your head!

Artist: Ian van Dahl
Title: Castles In The Sky [Radio Mix]
Album: Castles in the Sky [Single]
Language: English
Length: 3:45
Size: 3.44 MB
One of my all-time favorite Trance songs :3 Back when Trance hadn't been coined yet! This one has one of those eerie melodies that just carries you off into another world. The synth has a driving melodic beat and (what I think is) a vocal chorus sings softly in the background. I also love the metaphor of the song, you can really apply it to anything. I like to think it applies to earth in space :3

Artist: Murray Head
Title: One Night In Bangkok
Album: One Night In Bangkok [Single]
Language: English
Length: 3:51
Size: 4.42 MB
One of my old obsessions I didn't find until recently XD I use to always squee when this came on when Jack FM use to be Star Radio. It's a classic track from the Chess musical. It's got a catchy drum beat and all sorts of classic asian instruments running ALL through it. It's harrowingly addictive.

Artist: Daft Punk
Title: Digital Love
Album: Discovery
Language: English
Length: 4:58
Size: 4.56 MB
The track after Aerodynamic that Windsong posted. This is by the French duo Daft Punk, this album became Leiji Matsumoto's Interstella 5555. This is the third track of the album, where Shep dreams of Stella. This originally came to me on a former friend's CD she gave me. I didn't find out what it was until I heard it on my friend Joe's PSP in his car XD It's got a strong guitar riff running the whole song, and all of the song is synthed so strongly, hell if I can figure out the rest XD This is as addictive as Aerodynamic, and rightfully so. It's the happy love song of the album :3

Artist: Ian Van Dahl
Title: Reason
Album: Best of Trance Vol 4
Language: English
Length: 2:58
Size: 2.05 MB
One of my favorites out of my early expeditions of trying to find Trance music. Ian Van Dahl again, and my favorite of the first Trance album I ever found. It's got a driving organ synth driving most of the song. Sadly It's insanely short D:

Artist: Gnarls Barkley
Title: Crazy
Album: St. Elsewhere
Language: English
Length: 2:57
Size: 2.71 MB
Ah, an anthem for anyone who knows the true meaning of "Crazy". I love this song like no one should, because it's got such a meaning of what the definition of Crazy really is. It's got a really smooth rhythm of synchronized guitar and drums running consistently all through the song, and makes the song all the more fun. This one's fun to sing, and you'll love it stuck in your head :D

Artist: Gwen Stefani
Title: Fluorescent
Album: The Sweet Escape
Language: English
Length: 4:17
Size: 3.94 MB
Gwen Stefani's music is kind of hit-and-miss, especially her second album "The Sweet Escape", which has a lot of crap on it. But this is one of it's Gems. It's got a nice beat running it, and it got lots of different 80s style keyboards alternating through the song. Plus! Gwen's Awesome voice! It makes me really wish I had a love this good D:

Artist: Peach Hips
Title: Koisuru Otome wa Makenai
Album: PC Engine Single
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:57
Size: 4.54 MB
And to top it off, a Sailor Moon song! Probably one you've NEVER heard! It's from the PC Engine game from Japan, and I encoded it to mp3 just for you guys :3 It's your classic Sailor Moon song, but if you look up the lyrics they're the most genkai and girly lyrics in Sailor Moon fandom I think XD It's sure to be running though your head so much you have to hear it again and again XD I had this on repeat for a good few days when I first discovered it. IT'S THAT ADDICTIVE.
